He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Lee Hinton Sr.; his stepfather Lionel Walker; his mother Sarah'Judy'Walker; his siblings, William'Billy'Hinton Sr. and Dena Reynolds; and his nephew William'Lee'Hinton Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Rita Wolfe Hinton; his children, Mary Hinton Cruz (Carlos Cruz), Kelly Hinton (Brad Huddlestun), Jessica Forsythe, Deborah Hinton and Curtis Lee Hinton, III; his siblings, Sarah Holliman, Judith Lynn Chasse and Rusty Hinton, Sr.; his grandchildren, Jordan Franks, Taylor Valdez, Katelynne Huddlestun, Raeanna Whigham (Dyllan), Brinden Hinton, Chelsey Tircuit, Brian Forsythe Jr. (Bryleigh), Anthony Warrick, Emiley Tircuit, Reyna Cruz-Hinton, Edward and J'Sibley Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Whigham, Kennedy Whigham, Waylon Whigham and Kalaya Sheridan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
