He is survived by: his wife Brenda Maurer Russell; his son Bryant Russell; his daughter-in-law Rebecca McMichael Russell; his siblings, Vannie Ray Russell, Sr. (Debbie), Betty Jo Beach, Susie Viola (Jimmy) and Irma Amick (Robert "Bob"); and his sister-in-law Ramona Russell.
