It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonia Costa of Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Sirchia and Joseph Sirchia; her husband Russell J. Costa; and her siblings, John Sirchia, Annie Cacioppo, Christine Gulotta, Frances Costa and Katherine Giaratano.

She is survived by: her sons, James and Joseph Costa (Andrea); her grandchildren, Brian Costa (Kori) and Erin Mendez (Nicholas); her great grandchildren, Danny Wells, Ethan, Brady Mendez and Brason Costa; and her brother Frank Sirchia (Rosalie).
