He was predeceased by: his parents, Zoroastre U. and Marie Senac Hyver; and his sisters, Pauline Yacich and Louise Tentou. He is survived by: his wife Ida Giroir Hyver; his children, Wayne J. Hyver and Brian G. Hyver (Janet); and his grandchild Tracie Hyver Brown (Scott).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses.
