He is survived by: his wife Ida Anding Chauvin; his children, Joanne Chauvin of Lafayette, LA, Vicki Guilbeau (Bryan) of Lafayette, LA, Becky Cade (Chris) of Lafayette, LA, Brooke Mitch (Jason) of Allentown, PA, Amy Chauvin of Lafayette, LA, Caleb Price of Ruston, LA, Marshall Chauvin (Anna) of Copperas Cove, TX and Kathryn Gaston (Matt) of Choudrant, LA; and his siblings, Sharon Schexnaydre (Eddie) and Dudley Chauvin (Barbara Thibodaux). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
