He was predeceased by: his parents, Odelia Smith, and Thomas Baker Smith, Sr.; and his siblings, Merle Smith Lewis and Thomas Baker Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Anne Toups (Smith) of Schriever, LA; his children, Celeste Heath (Jeff), Annette Huber (Bill), Kenneth Smith (Sheri), Suzanne Reeves (Rip), T. Baker Smith, Sr. (Lisa), Stephen Smith (Nancy) and Julie Lary (Troy); his grandchildren, Angelle Baugh (Jordan), Jennifer Chiasson (Chris), Aubrey Heath, Caley Krug (Robbie), Will Heath (Mackensie), Taylor Reeves, Emelie Reeves, Aimée Heath, Laura Huber, Brittney Smith, Claire Reeves, Gabe Huber (Abbie), Sara Smith, Chris Smith, Leighton Lary, Madeline Lary, Lilly Smith, T. Baker Smith, Jr., Baird Smith, Landon Lary and Manning Smith; his great grandchildren, Evan, Emma Baugh, Shepard, Rosemary Heath, Georgia and Smith Krug; and his friend Cindy Spence. He is also survived by 7 children, 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Mathews Episcopal Church, The Bayou Community Fund, or a charity of your choosing.
