He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Guidry Fanguy; his parents, Howard J. Fanguy Sr. and Edna F. Fanguy; and his siblings, Gilbert Fanguy, Allen Fanguy, Roland Fanguy, Wallace Fanguy, Jimmy Fanguy, McKinley Fanguy, Helen Lajaunie, Diana Boudreaux, Lisa Fanguy and Baby Boy Fanguy.
He is survived by: his children, Wilson "Nig" Fanguy Jr. (Ashly), John Fanguy, Ashley A. Fanguy, Heidi Fanguy (Jose), Chelsey Fanguy (Elvin) and Edna Fanguy; and his siblings, Howard Fanguy Jr., Elther Therrien, Angeline Touchet, Arnold Fanguy (Berna), Leroy Fanguy (Theresa), Martha Ray, Edith Martin, Lucius Fanguy and Maryann Collins. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
