He is survived by: his wife Oceola Calloway Pledger; his sons, Irving Scoby (Erica), Brien K. Pledger (Cheryl) and Enoch Pledger, III; and his brother Samuel Pledger. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
