We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2023, at the age of 85, Virginia Trahan Pitre of Houma, Louisiana, born in Chauvin, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Black" A. Pitre; her parents, Anatole Trahan and Lois Lirette Trahan; and her siblings, Wade (Trahan, Sr.) and Ismay Trahan Naquin.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne J. Pitre (Gaynel), Christopher J. Pitre (Tammy) and Hollie Pitre Eschete (Cody); her sister Mary Jane Trahan; her great grandchild Maddox Eschete; and her close friend Esther Chilton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
