With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Paris of Houma, Louisiana, born in Jefferson, Texas, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Wayne Paris; her parents, John Isaac and Georgia Scruggs Miller; her daughter Norma "Normie" P. Adams; her grandson Chad Olivier; and her brothers, Gerald, Rayburn and Paul Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby W. Paris, Sr. (Jenny), Judy P. Olivier (Ronnie), Debra "Debbie" P. Naquin (Robin) and Melissa "Missy" P. Boudreaux (Eric); her son-in-law Danny "Spoon" Adams; and her sister Sherlie M. Collins. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
