Varnis Parfait Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Varnis Parfait of Houma, Louisiana, born in Dulac, Louisiana, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Rita Dion Parfait; his parents, Joseph Parfait and Edna Trosclair Parfait; his sons, Herschel, Darrell and Farrell Parfait; and his siblings, Linus Parfait, Ella Verdin, Ouida Parfait, Rita Verdin and Anna Parfait.
He is survived by: his children, Faron Parfait (Lena), Rachael P. Pierre and Dierdra P. Scott (David); and his siblings, Cyrus Parfait, Anthony "Yogi" Parfait, Josephine "Belle" Billiot and Sarah Foret Pellegrin. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
