He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bobby" Sr. and Barbara Whitney; and his sister Jodi Laurette Whitney. He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Breaux (Bubba) and Traci Whitney (Marc); his stepchildren, Derek Authement (Kristy) and Heather Trosclair (Saul); his grandchildren, Skylar, Rylee, Alexis, Kinsley, Brynleigh, Juliana, Layken, Logan, Landon and Mavrik; his siblings, Robert "Tutty" Whitney Jr., Roxanne Zawadzki and Laurie James; and his significant other Melva Comer.
