She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Smith, Sr.; and her parents, Isaac Fields and Lottie White Fields. She is survived by: her children, William C. Smith, Jr. (Isabella), Maurice Smith, Kevin Smith (Barbara) and Donna Smith (Rodney). She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister.
