She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Mae Kincheloe Smith; her grandparents, Joyce Frances Johnson, Percy Young Kincheloe, J. D. Smith and Myrtle Irene Smith; and her aunts, Susan Ann Kincheloe and Janie Louise Kincheloe.
She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Ridge Smith of Thibodaux; her father Bobby Joe Smith of Thibodaux; her siblings, Bobby Joe Smith Jr. of Thibodaux and Frances Irene Woods (David) of Phenix City, Alabama; and her niece Kayla Woods Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in her honor.
