Steven Duthu Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2025, at the age of 74, Steven Duthu of Houma, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Duthu and Lottie T. Duthu. He is survived by: his brothers, Danny Duthu (Martica), Craig Duthu (Sue), Bobby Duthu (Myra) and Jerome T. Duthu; and his godsons, Brent Michael Duthu and Dane Christopher Duthu. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Samart Funeral Home of Houma (635 Bayou Blue Rd, Houma, LA 70364). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
