He is survived by: his wife Lona Lovell Smith; his children, Belinda Janeski (Larry), Jason Hutchinson (Patricia) and Shane Smith, Sr. (Connie); his grandchildren, Shane Smith, Jr., Tyler Smith and Madelyn Smith; his great grandchildren, Mallorie, Trentin, Corbon, Jackson, Warren and Zane; and his sisters, Eva "Lut-Lut" Boufannie, Nellie Guise and Brenda Foret. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
