It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Voisin DeHart of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Voisin Sr. and Emily Authement Voisin; her son Magnus "Buck" Charles DeHart Jr.; her siblings, Rosemary Boudwin, Eddie and Barbara Neal; and her great grandchildren, Madilynn Stroud and Jude DeHart.
She is survived by: her husband Magnus DeHart Sr.; her children, Patty DeHart Cunningham (Kenneth), Faron DeHart (Donna), Pamelia DeHart Fowler (Kenneth), Rory DeHart (Lynn) and Shirley "Turtle" DeHart Fabre (Jerome); her daughter-in-law Debra DeHart Farrell; her siblings, Laura Duplantis, Gary Voisin, Diane Fanguy, Emily Bascle, Sharon Dupre and Harriet LeBouef; her grandchildren, Torrell DeHart Hebert (Heath), Amber DeHart Brown (Edward Brown), Matthew Fowler, Jennifer DeHart, Ashley DeHart, Kelsey Fowler Scariano (Paul), Sadie DeHart, Joshua Fabre and Jade Fabre; and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Bryce, Myles, Kingston, Kinzlee, Abigail, Evalynn, Edward, Eamonn, Anne, Edith, Savannah, Arabella and Paul Jr. Shirley. She is also survived by many loving godchildren, nieces, and nephews.
