As we bid Sheryl farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sheryl is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Johnson Sr. and Barbara Riley; and her sister Barbara Johnson. She is survived by: her son Shedrick Williams Jr.; and her siblings, Freddie, Troy, Lloyd Jr. and Loyce. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church (2424 Grand Caillou Rd, Houma, LA 70363). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
