He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith Hester; his sons, Sean Hester, Jr., Tyron Turner, DeSean Sylvester, Reandell Poindexter (Amira) and Anfernee Poindexter; his father Norris Hester; and his siblings, Otis Lawson and Kim Charles (Javar). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
