She was predeceased by: her parents, George Waalk and Walterine Waalk; and her siblings, Ginger Cuttingham and Gene Waalk. She is survived by: her son Aaron Paul Schexnayder (Heidi); her brothers, Guy Waalk (Susan), Keith Waalk (Linda) and Randy Waalk (Lynn); her grandchildren, Aaron Schexnayder, II (April) and Michelle Sierra Schexnayder; and her great grandchild Aaron Paul Schexnayder, III.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Samart Funeral Home of Houma (635 Bayou Blue Rd, Houma, LA 70364). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
