He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Russo, Sr. and Doris LeBlanc; and his brother Robert "Bean" Russo. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hebert Russo; his children, Kara McClanahan (Tim) and Mickey Russo; his grandchildren, Blake McClanahan (Katie), Tara Martinez (Blake), Gabrielle McClanahan, Kylie Jo McClanahan, Ryley Russo, Isabella Russo, Emma Russo, Leo Russo and Eli Cadierre; his great grandchildren, Raegan, Kasen, Laurel, Blair, Lilah and Ryker; and his sisters, Joann Carlos and Linda Marie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (409 Funderburk Ave, Houma, LA 70364). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Cemetery (6157 W Main St, Houma, LA 70360).
