It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Zappa (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on April 3, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Landry and Celeste Porche; her former husbands, Gaston Paul Aycock, Jr. and Peter Zappa; her son Robert Aycock; and her siblings, Carmelite Landry Arceneaux, Grace Landry Brashier and Samuel J. Landry, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Aycock Walker; her children-in-law, Jake Walker, Jr. and Vickie Walker Aycock; and her grandchildren, Jay Walker, Kathy Walker Mella, Dominique Aycock Peace, Renee Aycock Brackin, Andre Aycock Woodard and Simone Aycock Willis. She is also survived by spouses, 16 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Maria Immacolata Catholic School.
