It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Peter Chauvin (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on March 3, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Eldric Chauvin; his parents, Arnold Chauvin and Leona Kieffe Chauvin; and his brothers, Raymond Chauvin and Reynald Chauvin.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Chauvin; his children, Mark B. Chauvin (Tina) and Cynthia Bourgeois (Robert); his granddaughter Jessica Gallagher; and his siblings, Ruth Champagne and Rhea Babin.
