He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Monica Melancon Carlos; his parents, Edward Joseph and Olga Marie Poirier Carlos; his daughter Marsha C. Mediamolle; and his siblings, Claude, Reuben, Eugene Carlos, Claire Hubert Mackin, Joyce Whiteman and Lucille Spivey.

He is survived by: his son Kirk A. Carlos (Patti); his son-in-law Glenn Mediamolle; and his siblings, Guy, Donald Carlos and Iris Pitre. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
