In the sacred silence of farewell, Rosie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Zelma Autin and Michael Autin; her mother Mildred Autin; and her brother Joseph Autin, Jr.. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chauvin Funeral Home & Crematory (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (8594 E Main St, Houma, LA 70360).
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may donate to American Cancer Society in honor of Rosie.
