She is survived by: her mother Alma Banks; her daughters, Jernae' and Kierra Bolden; her grandchildren, Lathan Bolden and Malachi Oge; her brothers, Ernest Banks, Jr. (Cheryl) and Andrew Banks (Ethel); her godchildren, Koike Brown, Sandra Melendez and Wendy Scott Brown; her siblings-in-law, Cornelius Bolden (Vera), Carney Bolden, Oneal Fenderson, Mary "Jenny" Bolden, Gayleen Banks and Cheryl Banks of Destin, Florida; her close friends, Rhonda Williams, Justine Palmer, Faye Williams, Wayne, Elaine Townsend, Pamela Ross, Audrey Alridge, Kenyatta Buggage, Michael Jones, Sr. and Lucky Hite; and also Geontay D. Bolden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other members family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Salem Baptist Church (818 Lafayette St, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at the Mt Pilgrim Baptist Church (4928 N Bayou Black Dr, Gibson, LA 70356).
