He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Mae Toups Smith; and his siblings, Nolan Smith of Houston Smith and Rita Smith Rodrigue. He is survived by: his children, Roland J. Smith (Lisa), Ronnie A. Smith (Malvine) and Rhonda Smith; his sister Hilda Smith Authement; his grandchildren, Roland P. Smith, Ryan Smith, Tess Dupre and Bryce Dupre; and his great grandchild Brayden Smith. He is also survived by father, grandfather and loved to spend time with his many family and friends.
