He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Mae Brown Celestin; his daughter Pamela Celestin; his grandson Robert Johnson; his great grandchild Evan Anthony; his parents, Jonathan Celestine Sr. and Mable Jordan Celestin; his brother Jonathan Celestine, Jr.; and his grandparents, Bessie Creasy Celestin, Sylvester, Sr. and Betsy Moore Jordan.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce Celestin, Dwayne Celestin (Sonya), Donnie Celestin, Corey Celestin, Ron Singleton, Rosalyn, Bianca and Keyanna Celestin; and his siblings, Phillip Celestin, Ellen George (Junius) and Bessie Davis. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
