It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renetta Johnson of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Celestin, Sr.; her grandparents, Dan, Josephine Celestine, William and Alma Ross; and her aunt Leona Norman.
She is survived by: her daughter Tranetta Celestin (Otis Williams); her granddaughters, Myla, Malaya, Malani, Makai Williams and Ayvione Young; her mother Betty Ross Celestin; and her siblings, Herbert, Jr., Bernard, Nicholas, Danny Celestin and Melissa C. Hardy (Vernard). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
