He was predeceased by: his father Harry Verdin; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Irene Parfait; and his grandparents, Albert Gregoire, Jr., Mary Gregoire, Harry Verdin and Pearl Dartez.
He is survived by: his wife Monica "Cindy" Verdin; his children, Regis Verdin, Jr. (Kristy), Shaun Verdin (Michelle), Santrina Verdin and Taylin Verdin (Keegan); his adoptive daughter Taylor Rivere; his mother Gertie Pierre; his stepfather James Pierre, Sr.; his siblings, James Pierre, Jr., Peggy Leyva, Cynthia Gregoire (Bruce) and Mona Brewer (Marty); his pet Kai; and his grandchildren, Lexi, Hailey, Dasan, Kylah, Dayton, Gerald "Bebe", Zoie, Paris, Brayden, Madilyn, Easton, Vaccari and Pierson.
