He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Mary Faucheux Labat; his son Steven Paul Labat, Sr. (Crystal Jenkins) of Corpus Christi, TX; his grandson Cory Wayne Labat; his parents, Julian Labat and Gladys Babin Labat; his siblings, Emile "Buster" Labat and Shirley Marie Labat; his sister-in-law Barbara Cavalier Labat; his son-in-law Bret C. Dryden; his nephew David Blanchard; his parents-in-law, Emile "Canoon" Faucheux, Sr. and Cecilia "Sue" Waguespack Faucheux; and his sister-in-law Claudia Faucheux Senft.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Labat (Chasity) of Houma, Alison Dryden of Houma, Shirley Lafleur (Steven Miller) of Crowley, Carolyn Bertrand (Randy) of Estherwood, Tammy Arceneaux (Donald Jr.) of Houma, Carla Bergeron (Jason) of Houma, Pauline Fontenot (Bryan) of Carlyss and Mandy Richard (Terance) of Duson; his siblings, Roy Labat (Edith) of Houma and Juanita Blanchard (Melvin) of Houma; and his grandchildren, Steven Labat Jr., Ashley Labat, Brandon Dryden, Kayla Guidry, Candace Lafleur, Derrick Lafleur, Blaine Bertrand, Dustin Bertrand, Trey Arceneaux, Angelle Arceneaux, Tori Bergeron, Patsy Dobbs, Cody Labat, Andrea Richard, Caile Labat, Austin Labat, Kamryn Labat, Maridith Richard, Bronson Richard and Elise Richard. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
