He was predeceased by: his wife Marcia Daigle Trahan; his parents, Loveless Trahan and Bernice Fabre Trahan; his siblings, Alvin, George, Wilbert Trahan and Pearl Connor; and his sons-in-law, Glynn Foret and Jeffrey "Hucky" Pitre.

He is survived by: his daughters, Arlene Foret, Marilyn (Kenneth Fanguy), Mona Trahan and Sandra Pitre; his siblings, Albert "Bee", Roy, Raymond Trahan, Alice LeBoeuf, Betty Pontiff and Judy Yawn; and his grandchildren, Brad (Brian Foret), Amanda Boudreaux, Jennifer Griffith and Brandon (Hunter Pitre). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
