He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Daigle Marcello; his parents, Lucas Michael and Archangel Thibodaux Marcello; his brother Curtis John Marcello; his son-in-law Richard Breaux (Ricky); and his grandson Jacob Lee Marcello.

He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Babin (Danny), Martha Boudreaux (Dwight), Ursula Breaux (late Ricky Breaux) and Ray Marcello, Jr. (Beth); his brother Lucas Marcello (Buddy); his grandchildren, Melissa Anne Babin, Jeffrey Neal Boudreaux (Rebecca), Lauren Bernadette Andrews (Adam), Natalie Ray Rivera (Todd), Richard Christopher Breaux (Kristi), Matthew Ray Marcello (Mary) and Catherine Marie Marcello; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Alycee Riche, Charlotte Adine, William Neal, Mary Alice Boudreaux, Julia Ray, Olivia Joyce Rivera, Patrick Henry Andrews, Kate Elizabeth, Andre Arthur Breaux and Levi Davis Marcello. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
