He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Parr and Lydie Marie Dupont Parr; his grandson Ryan Parr; and his siblings, Ernest Parr, Betty Parr and Joyce Burns.

He is survived by: his children, Carroll John (Donna), Robert James (Connie), David Alan (Angela Parr) and Anne Mary Parr; his siblings, Frances Marie Parr and James Gilbert Parr; his grandchildren, Chadwick Michael Parr, Christine Elizabeth Parr-Vitter, Michael James Parr, Lexie Lydie Parr, Alaina Marie Parr, Joseph David Parr and Trever Hebert; and his great grandchildren, Austin Parr, Elizabeth Vitter, Kate Parr and Katherine Parr.
