It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Cortez Bergeron (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Mariano Joseph Cortez; her brother Ricky Cortez; and her niece Jill Cortez. She is survived by: her mother Irene Josephine Duplantis of Willis, TX; her children, Christi Badeaux (Russell Hebert, Jr.) of Houma, Brian Badeaux (Jessica Waguespack) of Houma and Michael Badeaux, Jr. (DeeDee) of Odessa, TX; her grandchild Datin Badeaux of Houma; and her siblings, Mark Cortez (Phyllis) of Carencro, Brenda LeSage (Ed) of Houston, TX and Jana O'Brien (Mike) of Willis, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
