She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. Fakier and Flossie "Angel" Fakier; her brother George "Buzzy" Fakier; her son George Fakier Cobb; her nephews, Mark Harper and Glenn Fakier; and her friend Msgr.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Jude Fakier; her children, Thomas Cobb, Jr. (Lori) and Margaret Carroll; her grandchildren, Amalie Collard (Tim), Olivia (Jay), Gabriel Cobb and Julia Carroll; her great grandchildren, Ben, Avila, Auggie Jo Collard, Ignacio and Emmanuel; and her nieces and nephews, Deborah Harper-Christian, Greg Fakier, George Fakier, Diane Carmouche and Susan Courtney.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Francis de Sales (500 Goode St, Houma, LA 70360). A rosary was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to any local civic organization that is important to you.
