It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ouida Best of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ouida Best to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kent Best; her parents, Louie Sandifer and Christine Sandifer; her brother James Sandifer; and her grandson Nicholas Bourgeois.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Thompson, Christy Davies (Howard), Curtis Gros (Renae) and Carrie Bourgeois (Biff); her stepdaughter Katie Montroy (John); and her grandchildren, Jillian Thompson, Ashley Davies, Jennifer Dean, Mikey Cadwell, Kris Cadwell, Curt Gros, Erin Crow, Sadie Gros, Brandon Gros, Jonathan Lirette, Olivia Cheramie, Jason, Brody, Lillian, Rebecca, Adam, Katherine, Jeffrey and Ann Bourgeois. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID concerns, family and friends are invited to attend an outdoor open house reception to celebrate her life at Carrie Bourgeois' home anytime between 12:00-5:00 p. m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
