He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Pharr Hester; his son Sean Patrick Hester, Sr.; his parents, Warren, Sr. Hester and Irene Hawkins Hester; and his siblings, Nolan, Sr., Michael, Norman, Warren Hester, Jr., Sedonia Hester, Diane H. Hadley and Eunice H. Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Otis Lawson and Valerie Kim Charles (Javar); and his sister Rose Mary Reed. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
