He is survived by: his children, Michele Simon and Raymond Simon (Kendra Develle Simon); his son-in-law Irwin LeBlanc; his grandchildren, Deo Gratias, Douglas, Kenneth (Sara), Grace (Chad), Gregory (Micaela), Jacob and Owen; his great grandchildren, Arabella, Brooklyn, Arthur, Bernard, Evangeline, Regina, Emma and Avery; and his pets, David and Hope.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Cathedral (500 Goode St, Houma, LA 70360). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Cemetery (6157 W Main St, Houma, LA 70360).
