It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nella Tomasello Melancon of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Jack McCully; her husband Philip Melancon; her parents, Carmelo Tomasello and Lidia Velacic Tomasello; her stepfather Luigi Guiseppe; her nephew Diego Vittor; and her niece Denise Vittor Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Smith (Danny), Serena Nelson (Hurley), Clyde McCully (Sherrie) and Thomas McCully (Raquel); her grandchildren, Tanner Magee (Kristen), Courtnee Perry (Chase), Annalyse Nelson, Shane McCully (Desi), Derek McCully, Tricia Robichaux (Joey), Cristy Perrone (Rusty) and Maegan Lewis (Cole); her great grandchildren, Grace, Julia, Kate Magee, Ty, Laine, Alyssa McCully, Adrienne Robichaux, Julien, Carmella, Sybil and Randy Peronne; her sister Nivea Vittor; her nephew David Vittor; and her close friend Cyrus Parfait.
