It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Narie Prosperie of Houma, Louisiana, born in Chauvin, Louisiana, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Lloyd Paul Prosperie; her parents, Clarence Picou and Gladys Duplantis Picou; her sisters-in-law, Jenny Hotard Picou, Adrianna Picou and Hazel Prosperie Kiger Bernard; and her parents-in-law, Cyriac and Louise Prosperie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lt. Melizia Prosperie and Darlene Flynn (Michael); her grandchildren, Layla Marie Louviere and Roger Joseph "Joey" Louviere; her brothers, Lawrence Picou, Conrad Picou (MaryLee), Ray Picou (Charlene) and Thomas Picou (Connie); her stepgranddaughters, Stacy, Farah and Errin; and her husband Cajun. She is also survived by nine step-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
