He is survived by: his children, Marty Trahan, Meryl Trahan, Murphy Trahan Jr. (Tammy), Monica Caro (Jimmie), Meredith Trahan and Mia Poindexter (Oliver); his grandchildren, Heather, Samantha, Alexis, Jessica, Viviana, Marah and Robert; his great grandchildren, Karter, Elise and Maddox; and his spouse Merle "Tootsie" Bergeron.
