He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Celestin, Sr. and Nellie Ringold Celestin; and his siblings, Osborne Celestin, Thomas Celestin, Jr., Charles Celestin, Sr., Paul Celestin, Sr., Agnes Calloway, Eunice Charles, Eula Morris, Gloria Weber, Cedona Robinson, Olga Walker, Helen Lewis and Margaret Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude James Celestin; and his children, Marie Lee, Neomi Scoby, Glenise Lagarde, Vincent Celestin, Gabriel Celestin (Maggie Duplantis) and Fredrick Celestin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM until funeral services at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA 70380. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).
