With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Eva Pierre of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph "Doo" Cleveland Pierre, Sr.; her son Fernand "Ferlin" Paul Pierre (Rachel); her parents, Anthony Trahan and Josephine Verdin Trahan Lodrigue; her sister Evalena Trahan; and her son-in-law Rickey Pellegrin.
She is survived by: her close friend James "Jim" Pellegrin; her children, Cleveland, Michael "Mike" Pierre (Cindy) and Veronica Pierre Pellegrin (Marty Cumberland); her grandchildren, Jamie Pierre (Anna), Rosalyn Boudreaux (Chance), Jaclyn Billiot, Hilary Hagler (Chris), Michalla Pierre, Kevin Pierre (Tiffany), Christina Steele (Zack) and Sarah Smith (Dalton); her great grandchildren, Beau Pierre (Victoria), Luke Pierre, Cole Pierre, Grayson Johnston, Bowen Johnston, Calab Boudreaux (Kelsey), Dagen Boudreaux (Jenna), Malayna Boudreaux, Zoey Hagler, Peter Smith, Timothy Smith, Konner Pierre and Austyn Pierre; and her great great grandchildren, Ezra Pierre and Eden Pierre.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
