He was predeceased by: his parents, Cody P. Trotter, Sr. and Helen Trotter Freeman; his brothers, Cody Trotter, Jr., Bobby Trotter and Galen Trotter; and his son-in-law Bert Carlos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teryl Trotter (Tim McElroy), Karla Carlos and Donna Trotter (Jay Fagan); his grandchildren, Kimmie Carlos, Lauren Molaison (Jamie) and Josh Carlos; his great grandchildren, Sam Molaison and Alex Molaison; and his former spouse Betty Trotter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
