He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Hebert Arceneaux; his parents, Polignac "Polly" Joseph and Helen Marie Dubois Arceneaux; and his brothers, Myron and John Arceneaux.

He is survived by: his children, Brodie Patrick Arceneaux and Courtney Lynn Gervais (Marc); his granddaughter Mia Catherine Gervais; his brother David Arceneaux (April); and his siblings-in-law, Susan H. Rasmussen and Bobby J. Hebert.
