We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2020, at the age of 88, Merlin David Babin of Houma, Louisiana, born in Bayou Blue, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Babin and Lucille Babin; his siblings, Donald, Gerald Babin, Marjorie Rome, Joyce Levron and Marion Epstein; and his grandson Glen Oglesbee.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi "Mim" Babin; his children, Jerome Babin, Charlene Cobb (Virgil), Caren Scott (Jack), Deana Stoddard (Blaine), Connie Ebeyer and Denise Neubig (John); and his grandchildren, Jared (Chase Cobb), Brad (Nicholas Scott), Brian (Jason Stoddard), Amber Babin and Heidi (Natalie Neubig). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
