He is survived by: his wife Hilda Mayet Kornegay; his children, Elizabeth Kornegay (Chris Provost) and Charles Kornegay; and his grandchildren, Taylor Kornegay Diez, Caden Kornegay, Chloe Fontenot and Troy Fontenot, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
