It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mercedes Moses (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on January 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Moses, Sr.; her parent Nixon; her sons, Dolan Moses and Travis Moses; and her sisters, Emma Harding, Lillian Smith, Bertha Mae Holmes and Araminta Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Clarence Moses, Jr. (Jennifer), Harold Moses, Eric Moses (Demitra), Joan Thomas (Fields), Joyce Lawson (Clyde), Barbara Bonvillian (Willie III) and Trenace Valentine (Travis); and her sister Mildred Henry. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
