He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Pertuit Hoob; his parents, Noah Hoob Sr. and Clara Dubois Hoob; his daughters, Wanda Hoob Henry and Melinda Hoob Theriot; and his siblings, Buddy Hoob, Noah "Pete" Hoob Jr., David Hoob, Marion Hoob, Ala Bragg, Reba Lusco and Pat Samples.

He is survived by: his children, Troy Hoob and Connie Hoob Tanner (Dale); his sister Diane Harleston; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Angarita, Staci Davenport, Beau Tanner, Sean Tanner, Taylor Hoob and Hunta Hoob.
